Peated Whiskey

New England’s first peat-smoked whiskey made with native peat and aged in Northern oak barrels. The semi-sweet backbone comes from malted barley and is enhanced with hand-cut peat from Maine to add an earthy nose, rich body with hints of salt air, and a pleasant, wood-smoke finish.

Why is there sediment in my bottle?
We do not chill-filter any of our spirits. This means they have the full flavor and mouthfeel of their class. As a result, Peated Whiskey will occasionally exude a cloudy or hazy appearance, or sediment may be visible. Have no fear, this is completely natural.

Where to find it
Unfortunately, Peated Whiskey is taking a long rest in barrels and is unavailable for purchase at this time. Check back in 2022 for an update on its release.

Cocktail Recipes
Let’s Drink!

Everett Fashioned
• 2oz Short Path Distillery Peated Whiskey
• 1/2oz Short Path Distillery Summer Reserve
• 1/4oz Simple Syrup
• 2 Dashes Angostura Bitters
• 2 Dashes Orange Bitters

Stir all the ingredients over ice, then strain into a rocks glass filled with one large ice cube. Express an orange peel over the drink, then drop it into the glass.

Flannel Shirt
• 2oz Short Path Distillery Peated Whiskey
• 1/2oz Orange Juice
• 1/2oz Lime
• 1oz Cinnamon Syrup
• 2 Dashes Angostura Bitters

Add all ingredients into a shaker filled with ice and shake. Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice and garnish with a cinnamon stick.

Apple Sauced
• 1oz Short Path Distillery Peated Whiskey
• 1oz Short Path Distillery Pommeau
• 1oz Apple Cider
• 1/4oz Lemon
• 3/4oz Allspice Syrup

Add all ingredients into a shaker filled with ice and shake. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with a lemon peel expressed over the rim of the glass.
