Apple Brandy

The cozy, nostalgic taste of fall in New England. Crafted in copper pot stills in Massachusetts, our Apple Brandy is distilled from locally harvested apples and aged in oak barrels. It leads with an aroma of fresh apple, brings notes of rye spice and candied ginger, and finishes with hints of butterscotch.

Support Local The pressed apple cider used to make Apple Brandy is sourced locally from New England Apple Products Company out of Leominster, Massachusetts. Owned by two brothers who grew up in the family business, the company traces its roots back to the end of the Civil War. With the help of partners like these, we’re able to incorporate a true taste of New England into our spirits.

Where to find it This is a seasonal product so it’s not currently available. Once it hits the shelves in the fall, you can purchase bottles through our online shop or look for it at one of the many liquor stores we partner with throughout Massachusetts. Orders placed through our online shop can be picked up anytime within regular business hours. Unfortunately we’re unable to ship spirits at this time.

Why the Wood Thrush?

The Wood Thrush nest mainly in woodlands, and can be found on all types of deciduous trees, including apple. Just as Wood Thrushes are a common breeding species throughout New England, apple orchards are also common throughout our lands. With its cold winter and mild summers, New England is one of the most popular areas for planting and growing apple trees in the United States. One of the first songsters to be heard in the morning and among the last in the evening, the male Wood Thrush’s flute-like song echoes throughout the forest, just like how the bold, candied apple notes linger from a smooth sip of our New England Apply Brandy.

Cocktail Recipes
Let’s Drink!

Bushel and a Peck
• 2oz Short Path Distillery Apple Brandy
• 1/2oz Vanilla Syrup
• 2 Dashes Pecan Bitters
• 1 Dash Angostura Bitters
Stir all ingredients over ice and strain into a rocks glass filled with once large ice cube. Garnish with a lemon peel expressed over the rim of the glass.

Apple Cinner
• 2oz Short Path Distillery Apple Brandy
• 1/2oz Lemon
• 1oz Cinnamon Syrup
• 2 Dashes Cinnamon or Angostura Bitters
Add all ingredients into a shaker filled with ice and shake. Double strain into a coupe glass and garnish with a cinnamon stick.

New England Mule
• 2oz Short Path Distillery Apple Brandy
• 3/4oz Cranberry Juice
• 1/2oz Lime
• 1/2oz Simple
• Fever Tree Ginger Beer
Add Apple Brandy, cranberry, lime, and simple to a shaker filled with ice and shake. Strain into a mule mug filled with ice and top with ginger beer. Stir to combine ingredients and garnish with a lime wheel.
