Americano Rouge is our take on a Sweet Vermouth. It’s made from a Vidal Blanc wine sourced from our friends at Travessia Winery in New Bedford. The wine is double distilled to make brandy, and then a variety of botanicals gets soaked in it. Once the botanicals are filtered off, we add Cabernet Franc from Travessia and sugar to complete the recipe.
Use Americano Rouge as you would Sweet Vermouth and add it to a Negroni, Boulevardier, or Manhattan.
