Short Path Distillery is opening a cafe and looking for baristas!
Barista – PT, FT & Lead Roles Available
Compensation: $17+/hr + tips (based on experience & position)
Schedule: Morning and daytime shifts only (we close at 3:30 PM)
We’re launching a brand-new café at Short Path Distillery and looking for experienced, motivated baristas to join our opening team. We’re hiring part-time, full-time, and shift lead roles.
This is a unique opportunity to help shape something from the ground up — to work with a passionate, tight-knit team in a space where quality, hospitality, and community come first.
We're partnering with Gracenote Coffee for our coffee program and Forge for our food program.

Responsibilities
- Craft consistently excellent espresso and coffee beverages in a fast-paced environment
- Provide warm, efficient, and knowledgeable customer service
- Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized café space
- Communicate clearly and work collaboratively with your team
- For Shift Leads: oversee daily flow, support baristas, and manage open/close duties
Qualifications
- Barista experience in a high-volume café is required
- Familiarity with espresso machines and dialing in
- A sense of urgency without sacrificing quality
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and team-focused
- Shift Leads should have prior supervisory or training experience
- Espresso proficiency
- Speed and efficiency under pressure
- Attention to detail and drink accuracy
- Strong communication and problem-solving
- Cleanliness, organization, and time management
- Commitment to excellent hospitality
